  A terrible tragedy yesterday at a Chicago child day care center took the life of a 22 month old toddler. The child was dropped off by his mother at day care by his mother while she went to work. A few hours later, a fire broke out and the toddler did not survive. Apparently, five other children escaped serious injury.   A seventy-year old Ypsilanti man is in serious condition after his car was struck by a DTE utility truck. It happened at the intersection of Rawsonville and Bemis Roads in Ypsilanti Township. The injured man was rushed by ambulance to the University of Michigan Hospital where he is receiving treatment.
