Another terrible death reported in an Ann Arbor Michigan motorcycle accident last weekend. The 46-year-old motorcyclist from Romulus was killed when he was rear-ended by another vehicle. Incredibly, the other vehicle was being followed by police at the time for a hit and run accident that had occurred shortly before the motorcycle accident. The driver of the car could be facing charges such as a hit-and-run or second-degree murder, depending on what police find in their investigation.

The family of the motorcyclist can file a Michigan wrongful death case against the negligent driver. The family can also file a claim for Michigan No-Fault Benefits to recover any medical expenes, funeral expenses, lost wages, and expenses for loss of services. The laws relating to motorcycle accident injuries are very specific and it is important to hire a law firm experienced in these cases. My firm represents many motorcyclists throughout the State of Michigan in their accident and injury claims and we have the specialized knowledge necessary to protect the rights of the injured biker.
