Boxer Diego "Chico" Corrales died the other day in a motorcycle accident in Las Vegas. Corrales was a three time boxing champion and won in two different weight classes. Police said Corrales' 2007 Suzuki hit the back of a car Monday evening while trying to pass at high speed on a busy residential street about 7 miles west of the Las Vegas Strip and not far from his home. The 29 year old boxer was wearing a helmet at the time. Corrales was apparently a free spirit and thrill seeker who did not always know his boundaries. According to reports, he was not an experienced rider.
