A 20 year old biker died in a Michigan motorcycle accident last week on Marsh Road in Cottrelville Township. He was wearing a helmet and apparently lost control of his motorcycle. Police believe that speed was a factor in the accident. The man underwent surgery after the accident so that his organs could be harvested to awaiting recipients in an organ transplant program.

Motorcyclists injured in Michigan motorcycle accidents can often make claims for No-Fault insurance benefits even if they did not have No-Fault insurance on the bike involved in the accident. The biker must have liability insurance on the motorcycle and can then claim benefits for medical expenses, lost wages, and other benefits from his auto insurance company. My firm handles a significant number of motorcycle accident cases and we assist our injured clients in making these claims.
