Two sisters were badly injured in a Detroit car accident as they walked to school on the city's northwest side. The girls, ages 14 and 7, were seriously injured and are hospitalized. They were struck by a 63 year old driver in an SUV. Police are still investigating this acccident.

The family of the girls can file a Michigan No-Fault Insurance claim to have their medical bills and other expenses covered. Even if the family did not have their own car insurance, they can still make a claim because the girls were pedestrians. There are several possible sources for filing this claim. The girls may also have a claim against the driver for their injuries.
