As I blogged about yesterday, the holiday weeks are infamous for serious Michigan car accidents. As many as seven people were hurt and traffic on I-94 was slowed after two accidents in the eastbound lanes near 11-Mile Road in Emmett Township early Saturday evening. Officers said a small pick-up entering the eastbound lanes, lost control and spun around on wet pavement and was hit head-on by a van. As traffic slowed behind the first accident one car struck the rear of another.
