Wrongful Death Lawsuit Against Drunk Driver

An unusal and tragic wrongful death car accident case was filed in Illinios. Back on December 13, 2006 a 54 year old tow truck driver was assisting his son in attempting to tow his stalled vehicle off of the roadway. A drunk driver crashed into the truck and then hit the son, killing him. The son's family filed suit against the father allegening that the father did not call police before deciding to tow his son's car, and that he negligently failed to warn other drivers that his truck was on the road. A the suit also seeks damages against Walmart for selling liquor to the intoxicated driver.
