"Kidsite" children's jewelry sold at Kmart is being recalled. The jewelry sets contain high levels of lead, which can be toxic if ingested by small children.

The jewelry sets have birthstones made from plastic gems in an array of different colors. The pendants on the necklaces are flower shaped on a silver chain. The month of the birthstone and "Kidsite" are on the packaging. Kmart is labeld on the back.

Consumers should immediately take the jewelry away from children and return it to any Kmart store for a free exchange.

Consumer Contact: For additional information, contact Kmart at (800) 659-7026 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. CT, Monday through Friday, or visit Kmart's Web site at www.kmart.com.
