Although the problem of child lead poisoning has been a top environmental health issue for over two decades, it has really jumped right into the news headlines with the recent Mattel toy recall. In fact, the search terms "Lead Poisoning" are the number five search term on Yahoo today. Although no cases of lead poisoning have been specifcially linked to the recalled toys, the public awareness that the recall has rasied is tremendous.
