New Lead Paint Poisoning Renovations Regulations

EPA is in the eleventh year of determining whether and how to regulate renovation, remodeling, and painting (RRP) activities conducted on the interior and exterior of pre-1978 housing. A protective RRP rule is one of
the key ways to prevent the completely preventable disease of lead poisoning. The Agency has re-opened its rulemaking to receive comments on its recent research. Our firm recently received a significant arbitration award for a child who was lead poisoned due to the negligent remediation techniques of a home contractor.
