A great story appeared today in the Ann Arbor News about a car accident brain injury survivor who is graduating college with honors. Jeanearre Hall was on her way to Ypsilanti High School in her senior year in January 2001 when she lost control of her car on a patch of black ice, eventually ending up in an intersection where her car was struck by oncoming traffic. She remained in a coma for two and a half days, and had surgery a couple of days later, on her 18th birthday, to repair her pelvis.

Through years of tough rehabilitation and with assistance through her education, she graduated with 2,300 other students at Eastern Michigan University. She will be pursuing a master's degree in apparel and textile merchandising at EMU beginning in the fall. Our firm handles a significant number of traumatic brain injury cases and we see the progress that head injury patients can make with the proper treatment and support.

A key to this success is finding a qualified treatment center with experience with brain injuries to attend for the rehabilitation process. Many states have brain injury associations with listings of the best treatment centers.
