After crashing with another vehicle, a man allegedly fled the scene of a personal injury accident while leading Michigan State Police and deputies from Delta County Sheriff Department, on a three hour search.

The man was traveling eastbound when his vehicle hit a westbound vehicle. In a press release from the Michigan State Police Gladstone Post, both vehicles were damaged extensively.

After the man headed for the woods, troopers, deputies and a tracking dog from the sheriff's department followed his tracks and found the man in a house about 11/2 miles away from the scene of the accident.

The man was arrested on charges of leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, driving on a suspended license, operating a vehicle while impaired and causing injury, resisting and obstruction of an office and various other traffic infractions.
