ConAgra, the makers of Peter Pan peanut butter, is facing an uphill battle when it tries to re-introduce its product back to the market. The Omaha-based food company won't discuss the details of its Peter Pan marketing plan for competitive reasons, but ConAgra is eager to win back consumers after the outbreak that sickened more than 400 people and spawned numerous lawsuits. Several people who became ill from the peanut butter live right here in Michigan and several cases are pending as a result.
