The recent E. coli outbreak in Michigan has been traced to ground beef sold at Kroger Food Stores. Several Michiganders have been hospitalized due to the bacteria. It appears that several people from Ohio are suffering the same food poisoning injuries. Symptoms of e. coli bacteria illness include stomach cramps, vomiting, and diarrhea.

In some circumstances, the illness can be life threatening. Customers who became ill from the outbreak do have legal rights to pursue a lawsuit against the seller of the bad meat. Claims for damages include compensation for pain and suffering, illness, and loss of enjoyment of life. Further, claims for medical expenses and lost wages can also be made.

Anyone infected with the virus should contact a food poisoning lawyer immediately. My firm handles these cases and I am interested in assisting any victims of this outbreak.
